How to choose wood chandeliers
- Chandelier size: Add the room length and width in feet to find a good diameter in inches. Over a dining table, aim for a chandelier one-half to two-thirds the width of the table.
- Care: Wipe wood with a dry, soft cloth and avoid harsh cleaners.
- Ceiling height: Allow about 2.5 to 3 inches of fixture height per foot of ceiling height, and keep at least 7 feet of clearance where people walk underneath.
